Angie Fisher

I discovered TeensReadToo.com soon after it was launched while I was searching for books to hook my students on reading.
I’m a huge believer that there is one book out there for everyone that will hook them on reading for life,
and this site has been an invaluable tool in that endeavor.

I’ve taught language arts in a rural school for more than ten years.  I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.
I adore adolescents, which says a thing or two about my mental state.

In addition to my school kids, I have three girls of my own, 16, 13, and 10.  They are my sunshine and my life,
and incredibly unselfish in sharing me with hundreds of other students, many of which
they don’t know, because I don’t teach in the same town that I live.

I also have an amazing husband who is usually last, but very patient at the end of the day when I’m finished
with all the kids in my life.

I’m currently enrolled in a second master’s program, this time in writing, where I am attempting to write my own YA novel.
Wish me luck.
