I live down on the MA-RI border and teach high school English to English Language Learners. I also am the adviser for the Krump Squad and work with the ELL Club, Step Team, and Theatre Company for the high school. I love my kids and they make my job worthwhile. Even beyond my students the most important people in my life are my family and close friends. I have an older brother, two younger sisters, a mother, and a father whom I cherish dearly. My brother lives north of me in MA and my mother, father, and two sisters live in CA with their dog and cat. The best thing in the world is when I get to spend time with my family and close friends. In my not-so-copious amounts of free time I still manage to keep myself busy. I am currently editing a trilogy that I wrote in hopes of getting the first book off my desktop by Christmas. I love reading, writing, watching well written tv and movies (all while drinking a nice cup of tea). If there's Boston College sports on, I'm watching that and generally cheering them on, with only occasional yelling at the tv. (Go Eagles!) I also love dancing, singing, painting, drawing, and swimming. I'm well known amongst my family, friends, and students for being a shutterbug and love to take pictures of anything or anybody I find beautiful. I'm a techie nerd and love messing about on the computer. When the weather's good there is nothing better than walking/biking through the woods or along a river in the mountains and stopping occasionally for a little reading/writing/drawing/photography.
