Jonathan Barnes has never had the good life. Labeled as an outcast at his school, not only is he victimized by the
school jocks every day but also by his English teacher, who enjoys calling him out in the middle of class. Even though
Mr. Weaver may think Jonathan is stupid, he's really pretty smart, but he just doesn’t want to make his situation even
    worse.

His best friend left him to go to another school, one where Jonathan still wouldn’t fit in. And the girl of his dreams has
begun to notice him, but the only interaction between them is smiles in the hallways -- and that only lasts for a split
    second.

Then things get out of control. First, Mr. Weaver turns up dead in a tree, and then one of the jocks. Seems like
whoever has terrorized Jonathan is getting killed, and even though he never liked them, he would never wish them
    dead.

The new girl, Kristy, who is also a loner, is beginning to make friends with Jonathan. Sure, she seems nice, but there
just might be a darker side to her.

Jonathan has to quickly find out who is causing all of these murders before they go too far and end up killing the
    people he loves, too.

A thrilling and adventurous novel that will leave you breathless, CRUSH is the perfect addition to the already
frightening WICKED DEAD series. The story is intense and very creative, and those who have enjoyed the works of
R.L. Stine and even Stephen King will definitely want to take a look at it -- cautiously.
