Hi, my name is Karin Perry and I'm a Library Media Specialist at a middle school in Oklahoma . Before moving to the middle school last year, I taught 5th grade for 2 years and was an elementary Library Media Specialist for 4 years. I received my Masters of Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma in 2001 and received National Board Certification in 2003. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Reading Education at the University of Oklahoma . I really enjoy reading Young Adult books, but I sometimes read adult novels as well. My favorite genres include romance, fantasy, and paranormal. I really like vampire novels (ones where the vampire is a good guy, of course!) I hope you find the reviews I’ve written useful; they sure have been fun to write. And feel free to visit my "Feed the Need to Read" Book Discussion Blog for Teens right here! You can contact me at kperry@teensreadtoo.com. |
