    Sophie and her two best friends have been blessed with supernatural powers.  Sophie has the ability to read
    minds and it’s growing stronger every day.  While she’s happy that she has her best friends to confide in, lately
    there’s tension in the group.

    Sophie likes Jacob, whom her friends don’t like. A.J. isn’t afraid to speak her mind, even if those comments are
    negative.

    While Sophie’s dealing with her crush, her pregnant sister moves back home with her loser boyfriend, and she’s
    hearing very disturbing thoughts coming from her favorite teacher.

    Sophie must learn to cope with her growing ability and the difficulties in her personal life.  The strong
    relationships in the novel plus the slight paranormal aspect make this a quick and enjoyable read.
