Marcus had left his home and was wandering around finding shelter underneath bridges, and basically anywhere else he
would be able to occupy for the time being.
Thinking his life couldn’t get any worse, a group conducting an experiment decides to make Marcus one of the variables,
since he is nothing other than “street scum.” He was out walking, trying to find any type of food in the trash, when he was
kidnapped, taken to the headquarters, and was explained the experiment. And, out of his control, he was thrown out of
society and into the wilderness.
The experimenters wanted to see what goes on when people have to fend for themselves in the wild. Do they change their
attitude and morals? Do they become savages when trying to find something to eat? Do they become frantic and
uncontrollable?
So far, with a tattoo with his name and number on his arm, Marcus has been able to survive knowing what the experiment
is all about. Then a girl is dropped off at the place where he has currently found refuge. Lynn312 was tattooed on her
arm, and together they would help each other survive, while trying to find a way to end the experiment. New victims will
be discovered, plans will be hatched, and caring for one another will be key.
Not usually one for violence, Marcus is pushed too far, wanting an end to this new life, willing to do anything and hurt
anyone to get out. Will he be able to survive or will the experiment’s effects cause even more damage?
A thrilling beginning to a shocking new series, THE FEAR IN THE WILDERNESS is like a script to the next
blockbuster hit. Every word written by Scott Allen leaps off the pages and plays with your imagination. The first
installment of the SURVIVAL OP series will keep the reader guessing until the very end, where a cliffhanger awaits.
